This part of IEC 62932 applies to the mixture of vanadium(III) and vanadium(IV) aqueous solutions as energy storage media (vanadium electrolyte) for vanadium flow batteries based on sulphuric acid together with different additives. This document defines the general properties, composition and purity of electrolyte.
