Scope

This document defines:

— General design rules for access to the metro cab,

— Front visibility conditions including positions of people,

— Assessment.

This document applies to metro vehicles with or without driver, excluding shuttles used for short distance transportation.

Metro vehicle definition is according to EN 17343.
