This document specifies the principles of unsteady-state method for determining the relative permeability of two-phase fluids in cores from heavy oil reservoirs under steam injection thermal recovery. It covers the reagents and materials, apparatus, preparations, procedure, data processing and test report.

It is applicable to the determination of oil-steam and oil-water relative permeability in steam-injection-developed heavy oil reservoirs.
