This document specifies the additional and deviating requirements to ISO/FDIS 8100-1 for new passenger and goods passenger lifts permanently installed on ships.
This document is applicable for the lift in:
— operating conditions;
— stowed conditions;
— emergency conditions;within the limits defined by the relevant classification society or authority having jurisdiction.
Lift behaviour during fire is out of the scope of this document.
