It is based on ISO 24495-1:2023, which outlines the importance of plain language and its principles.</p> <p>The requirements apply to any organization, regardless of size or sector. They apply to new and existing documents, whether developed with AI or not.</p> <p>NOTE For guidance on accessibility of digital documents, see the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ISO/IEC DIS 40500 and EN 301549.</p>
