Replace the fourth paragraph with the following:

These appliances are not intended for household and similar purposes. They are used:

         by experts or instructed persons for commercial processing of food not in areas open to the public, for example in kitchens of restaurants, canteens, hospitals and in commercial enterprises such as bakeries and butcheries; or

         by laymen in areas open to the public, for example hotel/motel common areas, canteens and self-service restaurants.

Delete the penultimate dashed item of the last paragraph for battery-operated appliances.

Replace the third bulleted item of the last dashed item in the last paragraph with the following:hotel rooms, motel rooms and other residential type environments;
