This document is applicable to the determination of free amino acids in fertilizers, soil conditioners, and beneficial substances. The amino acids covered include: asparagine, tryptophan, glutamine, theanine, aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, histidine, lysine, arginine, γ-aminobutyric acid, and cystine.
