This document specifies the terms and definitions, drive system composition, requirements for system components, installation requirements, belt drive guarding, and installation requirements and inspection items before drive system operation.
This document is applicable to the installation requirements of synchronous belt drive systems. In general, the recommendations of the drive supplier regarding measurements and values should be given highest priority by users.
