These particular requirements apply to coffee preparation appliances for household use and similar in scope and size machines for commercial use.

Examples are included but are not limited to following:

• automatic coffee machines

• coffee grinders

• porta filter machines

• pad coffee machines

• capsule coffee machines

• filter coffee machines

This document does not apply to coffee vending machines.
