This document is related to human exposure to radiofrequency (RF) electromagnetic fields transmitted by a base station (BS), operating in the frequency range 110 MHz to 300 GHz. It specifies the methods to assess the compliance of exposure from a BS with the general public basic restrictions, directly or indirectly via compliance with reference levels, and the workers’ exposure limit values, directly or indirectly via compliance with action levels, when the BS is placed on the market.
The term “product” is used in the same sense as BS in this document.
