This standard consists of test conditions, test equipment, test procedures, and test reports. It specifies methods for evaluating the quality of sEMG signals obtained from contracting muscles and the suitability of selected muscles for wearable applications. Note that medical applications of sEMG sensors are beyond the scope of this document.
