Scope

This document supports the development of smart multigenerational neighbourhoods (SMNs) – vibrant, human-centric communities where people of all ages and abilities can live, work, and play.

SMNs balance individual autonomy with shared responsibility, integrating advanced digital infrastructure, intelligent connectivity, and collaborative governance to transform essential services, strengthen community resilience and drive inclusive growth.

This framework enables participating neighbourhoods to evolve with changing social, economic, and environmental conditions – ensuring long-term sustainability and quality of life.
