This document applies to earth-moving machinery (EMM) as defined in ISO 6165:2022 and provides:

— functional definitions for levels of automation and autonomy (LAA)

— taxonomy describing the levels of automation and autonomy (LAA)

This document does not provide specifications, or otherwise impose requirements on, automated operating systems defined herein.
