Overview: Under the direction of SPSC is a forum for a number of existing Fire Safety and Built Environment technical committee experts, and seconded experts, to discuss formal findings emanating from the various official Grenfell Tower fire investigations and reviews with a view to providing advice on standardization needs; To review all standards concerning building and fire safety, with a focus on residential/tall buildings; To advise on the maintenance of a robust and comprehensive set of standards that will ensure buildings are made safe and remain so. NB the Task Group is advisory. It does not have priority over, or supervision of, other committees
