Overview: Under the direction of B/209 General Building Codes is responsible for the development of BS 8000 Part 0 Workmanship on construction sites - Introduction and General Principles and to co-ordinate activities relating to workmanship: a) in the other parts of BS 8000 b) in other relevant standards. It will cover general principles of execution such as trade practice and contracting protocols in the industry as well as issues such as tolerance, accuracy, fit and interdependencies between trades, and health and safety issues. It will provide model format for the various parts and provide the links with the Uniclass system to provide a common structure.
