Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for providing the UK input into ISO/TC 310, CEN/TC 252, CEN/TC 207/WG 2, CEN/TC 364 & CEN/TC 248. This committee provides UK input into National, European and International standards in the topic areas: Child use and child care products include high chairs, safety barriers, playpens, changing tables, table mounted seats, and harnesses, wheeled child conveyances, carry cots, child seats for cycles, soothers and soother holders and feeding equipment. The work of the committee is on implementation of mandated standards to support the Child Safety Directive. It is also responsible for co-ordination of the horizontal issues.
