Overview: Under the direction of TPR/1 is responsible for the BS 8887 series covering design for manufacture (M), assembly (A), disassembly (D) and end-of-life (E). Work is currently focussed on the 'D' and 'E' elements of MADE, in particular sustainable product design issues and remanufacture, with a review of the 'M' and 'A' elements in the pipeline.
