Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for setting policy and strategy to meet the standardization needs of the Fire and Rescue Service, construction, testing, maintenance and use environments. To oversee work programmes of the relevant Technical Committees and ensure that BSI standards work is properly focused on issues of key relevance to the sectors, and to interact with other projects as and when required.
