Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to the formulation of a UK strategy for standardization in Risk Management through a broad consultation with relevant stakeholders; To ensure that the UK view influences the European Union, CEN and the ISO Working Group for risk management; To develop and support formal standards and other standardization documents in the area of risk management and to promote their use by industry and other potential users; To ensure due consideration of the need for standards and standardization is given by UK risk management networks and organisations, and to coordinate activities and actions in this area
