Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, to ensure that the UK view influences the European Union, CEN and the wider international perspective once Standardisation work start in these arenas. To develop and support formal standards and other standardization documents in the area of business continuity management and to promote their use by organizations of all sizes and other potential users. To ensure due consideration of the need for standards and standardization is given by UK CAR networks and organisations, and to coordinate activities and actions in this area.
