Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to ISO/TC 138 ‘Plastics pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids’ and its subcommittees and CEN/TC 155 ‘Plastics piping systems and ducting systems’ and for standards for plastic pipes systems and components for soil and waste discharge, drainage, or sewerage; plastics piping systems and components for water or gas distribution and general industrial applications; plastics piping systems and components for renovation of pipelines; methods of testing of plastics for piping systems; and plastic underground infiltration, attenuation and storage systems.
