Overview: Under the direction of B/507 is responsible for developing a policy and strategy in relation to national, European and international standards work on slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces (excluding sports surfaces); To plan, programme and co-ordinate the package of standards and to resource and organize the structure and work necessary to produce and maintain the standards; To encourage the co-ordination of the activities of those committees responsible for standards work that include requirements and test methods for the determination of slip/skid resistance of surfaces; To provide UK input to CEN/TC 339 Slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces
