Overview: Under the direction of the PVE/1, is responsible for providing advice to product committees on the appropriate safety system requirements to be used in the development of national and international standards covering pressure equipment. Particularly to make proposals for the development of requirements for PD 5500 and advise on the reply to queries on aforementioned aspects. Select the UK representation for CEN and ISO committees dealing with subjects within these terms of reference. Recommend any R & D necessary for the development of standards.
