Overview: Under the direction of GW/1, is responsible for producing British Standards relating to installed intruder and hold-up alarm systems including External Perimeter Security systems (EPSS) for I&HAS only. GW/1/2 is responsible for UK input to European and international committees, including CLC/TC 79 and IEC/TC 79 and their sub-committees and working groups with regard to work being carried out by this committee that might impinge on the I&HAS requirements. GW/1/2 provides assistance and input to the GW/1 sub-committee structure and other relevant national, European and international committees, as well as other public interest and policy groups that may impact on I&HAS.
