Overview: Under the direction of GEL/65, is responsible for the UK input to the work of IEC/SC 65B whose scope is: To prepare international standards in the field of specific aspects of devices (hardware and software) used in industrial process measurement and control, such as measurement devices, analysing equipment, actuators, control valves, actuated valves, and programmable logic controllers, and covering such aspects as interchangeability, performance evaluation, and functionality definition. GEL/65/2 is also responsible for providing the UK input to CENELEC/TC 65X and liaisons with other relevant organizations.
