Overview: Under the direction of B/540 is responsible for the preparation, revision and supervision of British Standards relating to thermal insulation products in buildings in all application areas, excluding pitched roofs, having regard to technical and legislative aspects both in the EU and EC. To be responsible for determining the national vote and comments on draft European standards and the final vote on the standards for mineral wool, produced in CEN/TC 88/WG 3 and CEN/TC 88/WG 15
