Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for standards for destructive testing of welds in metallic materials. In the European Standards arena it provides the UK input to WG 13, Destructive testing, of CEN/TC 121, Welding and in the International Standards arena it provides the UK input for work items on destructive testing within SC 5, Testing of welds, of ISO/TC 44, Welding.
