Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is the steering committee for, ACE/61/-/15, ACE/61/-/16, ACE/61/-/24, ACE/61/-/48, ACE/61/-/49, ACE/61/-/5, and ACE/61/-/6. To be responsible for all matters relating to procedures for inspection and testing of all metallic materials for aerospace purposes, for the British Standards specifying these procedures, and for the United Kingdom view in European and International standardisation where required
