Overview: To plan, programme and co-ordinate the package of standards within the designated scope and to resource and organize the structure and work necessary to produce and maintain the standards. Subjects included in the designated scope: Design of straight, helical and spiral stairs, timber stairs, precast concrete stairs, and industrial type flooring, walkways and stairs. Subjects excluded from the designated scope: Access fixtures on roofs, chimneys and other high structures, including fixed vertical ladders Industrial type flooring, walkways and stairs Fixed means of access to stationary or mobile machinery, including access to that part of the building where the machinery is installed, providing the main function of that part of the building is to provide a means of access to the machine.
