This British Standard provides a framework for and guidance on implementing the principles of the circular economy within organizations. This guidance is intended to apply to any organization, regardless of location, size, sector and type.
A revision of this standard is needed to include developments in organisational circular economy strategy and learnings from the implementation of the original standard published in 2017.
The revision will enhance the existing practical guidance aimed at circular economy practitioners and support organisations transition towards circularity.
The revision of the standard will align with upcoming UK government developments around circular economy strategy and be consistent with new ISO and CEN circular economy standards.
