Scope

Anyone who is responsible for planning, commissioning, managing, designing or providing toilets, kitchens, utility rooms, bathrooms or showers within dwellings, places of work or public amenities.

This will include:

- Architectural design consultants

- Architects

- Plumbers

- Cubicle manufacturers

- House builders

- Building developers

- BIM and CAD element developers

- Housing associations and other multiple home owners

Purpose

A revision of BS 6465-2 has been proposed to ensure the standard is updated to reflect modern guidance, regulations, and other changes in the industry, since it's previous publication and amendment in 2017.
