IEC 62899-202-14 ED1 Printed electronics Part 202-14: Materials - Test methods of conductive ink suitability for screen printing

Scope

This part of IEC 62899 defines test methods to evaluate how well conductive inks are suited for screen printing.

Purpose

Printed electronics including in-mould electronics use screen printing process when it enables appropriate conductive layer width and thickness. For example, in-mould electronics (IME) typically starts with screen printing process. Screen printing test methods help conductive ink suppliers in their development work and users in selecting the appropriate material.
