Scope

This European Standard describes a test method for measuring the temperature of asphalt mixtures after mixing and during storage, transportation and laying. This European Standard includes the contact temperaturemeasuring device and the noncontact temperaturemeasuring device (infraredthermometer). In cases of dispute, the refence method shall be using the contact temperature measuring device.

Purpose

The purpose for revision is

- to amend and correct the terminology for requirement on apparatus;

- to introduce missing clauses and restructuring of the document accordingly.
