Scope

This European standard specifies requirements for the design and installation of early suppression fast response (ESFR) and control mode specific application (CMSA) sprinklers in automatic sprinkler systems in accordance with this standard and EN 12845-1.

Purpose

During the review process for the revision of EN 12845:2015 it became clear, that clauses and annexes which can be an independent document should be published as separate standards to allow for an easier handling of EN 12845 and a shortened revision cycle for all covered topics.
