Scope

This System Reference Deliverable (SRD) provides guidance for electrical energy services for supply and demand adjustment between utilities and customers using controllable loads, including thermal storage systems (TESS).

Purpose

Flexibility services are important for large-scale operation of renewable energy. Therefore, supply and demand adjustment services that further utilize customers' controllable loads become necessary.
