Committee: PVE/1/15 Pressure Vessels - Design methods

Scope

Under the direction of PVE/1, is responsible for providing advice to product committees on the available and appropriate design methods to be used for the design of pressure equipment to national and international standards. Particularly to make proposals for the development of the design section of PD 5500. Advise on the reply to queries on aforementioned aspects. Select the UK representation for CEN and ISO committees dealing with subjects within these terms of reference. Recommend any R & D necessary for the development of standards.
