Committee: GEL/20/11 Electric Cable accessories

Scope

Under the direction of GEL/20, is responsible for British Standards for cable accessories which provide a means of cable jointing and termination (excluding cable glands), for voltages up to and including 36 kV. To monitor interface standards for all types of cable accessories and all voltages. To have regard for codes of practice for the installation of products (where appropriate). To participate in any corresponding international and European work.
