Committee: QS/1 Quality management and quality assurance procedures

Scope

Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for a) the preparation, publication, review and revision of generic British standards or other products in quality management, quality assurance and related fields in coordination with similar ISO and CEN activities and product developments; b) formulating the UK vote and comment on related ISO and CEN work; c) appointment and briefing of UK delegates to participate in the work of ISO/TC 176, its sub- committees and working groups (in liaison with other BSI technical committees). QS/1 has several panels each responsible for specific aspects in the field of quality management that can involve the development of one or more documents.
